This is The James River in Richmond, VA. It is located in the middle of the city making access extremely easy. This is space that is used for multiple things. During the summer and spring months you will find many, people having picnics on the rocks, families taking their children to the shallow parts of the waters, or at the later hours teenagers making bon fires. It is a space that brings various people together. It is one of my favorite places to go at home. It brings various people together and it is a calm and relaxing place to clear your mind or have alone time. I think that is one of the most unique parts of Richmond because it is set apart from the constant fast life of Richmond. It is a place where people go to have mild fun, to relax, to enjoy the water. The river is a very family oriented place, people all ages, races, and personalities enjoy their time spent here.
